The month of April has arrived already, and I must admit to saying I am glad to leave behind the last few traumatic weeks. Fortunately for me, when things are going wrong I find some sanity in turning to my creative urges and designing.Meeting deadline for various publications and rubber stamping challenges, helps to keep my mind busy when emotionally upset, and also my hands busy. Certainly it beats doing housework!
This month I have had quite a few things published both in Just Cards and my favourite magazine Vamp Stamp News. The card on the right was the very last one I sent to my Dad who past way in early March. It was also the design that Nancie Waterman editor of VSN, chose to use in the April 2012 edition. As you know I have continued to design for Sparklensprinkle, like forever, and this card shows one of their most recent stamp sets of gorgeous humming birds and hibiscus flowers. The organza spotted ribbon I used was from that super company Really Reasonable Ribbon
Hopefully I will now be posting again on a more regular basis, but thank you all for your kind thoughts and understanding,

This is beautiful, Joan! Congrats on it being published! It truly screams "Spring is here!" My children bought me a gift subscription to Really Reasonable Ribbon and I love it! Thanks for sharing!
