It is another lovely warm weekend here in the UK, and tonight we enjoyed a retirement party of a good friend who cruises the canals with Michael. Good company, excellent food and a super live band, even if it proved somewhat noisy.
Tomorrow will be a hectic day as one of my grand daughters is arriving from Scotland to stay for a week during the school holidays. I have been frantically cleaning my craft room so we can make up a bed for her in there. Not that she will mind, as this grand daughter is very craft minded and I shall more than likely find her sat at my desk making a few cards! Today I made a very simple card using a dry embossing folder, with white card and a stamp I recently acquired as a freebie from a stamping magazine.

That's really pretty Joan! Enjoy your special visitor.
Cute card Joan. Love the image too and how you colored it so delicately. Have fun with your granddaughter.
Lucky you to have a sweet granddaughter who can share your craft with you. Love your card and more luck in winning such a beautiful stamp. Your crisp embossed background was the perfect canvas for this little beauty. Enjoy your visit & some quality fun crafting time. TFS
Congratulations to you & your country (And to the Happy Family). What a special day of joy when a new baby arrives. I'm sure the Grands are ecstatic as well. My guess of some possible names would be Charles, Arthur, Phillip & I've also read that George might be a possible choice. Whatever the parents choose, he's going to be a blessed little boy. What a fun idea for a post.
What a lovely card, Joan. It's sure to please. And have fun with the granddaughter. Hugs.
