Apologies for not posting recently.

My apologies for the lack of posts recently! After having some holiday time in Cornwall, the following week we went to a family wedding. It was alternative and fun for everyone. The theme was vintage, from the brides dress, to the bridal car to the reception afterwards. There was live music, food from a fast food van parked outside that served various wraps all nice and fresh, followed by homemade wedding cake and donuts.
There was sweetie jars where children could fill small bowls when ever they felt like it, much to their delight, and a swing park on the grass to keep them busy. Afterwards on departure we were all given vintage ornaments and flowers that had decorated the tables, along with homemade jams and hand sewn  hearts filled with pot pourri made from the brides mothers garden.
In honour of that occasion, and because over on the Outlaws website was a colour challenge to make a vintage card, I thought I would post this design to share with you.

Your vintage card is just beautiful. Loved the way you have your sweet little picture over the doily & diecut, and a wonderful color combo as well. Lucky you to get to Cornwall. The name has always intrigued me, and now that I've discovered Dr. Martin..do I ever want to visit there. Alas, not very likely in my future! Your wedding sounded like so much fun & enjoyment too. TFS your card & the back story as well. Hugs

Hi & I'm so happy you visited the blog this evening and saw the post about Sparkle & Sprinkle. I hope to get back for a visit when we return at Christmas (DH is very good about driving me around to the stamp places, so is DD if she has the time). I will try to be sure to remember you to Margaret. She was such a joy to meet, so enthusiastic and so knowledgeable. I loved all the samples, had forgotten to take a camera. Then she explained each is on the gallery at the site. She is scheduled to be up at a Georgia show next July - one which I usually attend in Feb. Knowing that she is there, will make me rethink my schedule. Also have a local friend who is on her design team but one of my wonderful blog followers is the person who suggested that I 'must go' there, and I'm so happy she did! We had a lovely time. Must have been a really fun assignment being her designer. Hugs & Hope all is well. I'm still envious of your Cornwall visit...I'd love to visit there!
