I love tag art

I love tag art, it has always been a favourite of mine. A friend sent me this bird image, which I believe is from the Penny Black collection of stamps. I coloured the bird lightly and added a little glitter on its wings. I cut the completed image into a rectangular shape and edged all four sides with a black marker. The tag I slit with a craft knife and inserted the image, before mounting it onto a decorative paper background. This in turn was matted onto a mustard textured card.

I added a punched photo corner, a flower and leaves, and a small butterfly to complete this simple design.
