Well it is flowers all the way today!
Today brought the warmest weather temperatures so far this year in my part of the world. That meant more flowers blooming in my garden and a trip to the garden centre to purchase new plants.
We want plants to attract more butterflies and bees that seem to becoming reduced in numbers more each summer. There had been an announcement in one of our local papers to say that this centre was offering beginners gardening courses, and one also on wild life conservation. Now that is the sort of information both my DH and I need. We met a knowledgeable young man there who gave us lots of advice, and pointed us the right direction of what we might like to consider buying. Needless to say there is going to be lots of planting in our garden tomorrow!
The card I have displayed today, I made using two different dry embossing folders in my cuttlebug machine, for background layering. I added a Stampington flower boxed stamped image and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder. As my step daughter had requested a wedding anniversary card, I thought this might fit the bill nicely.
