I was using a sketch from Colorful Creations to make a card that required a banner. Rather than use the usual pennant type I decided to make my own by using a strip of lace, product of Crafty Individuals. The card is a 6inch square that used papers from Crafty Individuals and a copy photograph from the same UK company. The verse is from Hero Arts and the friend to friend from Stampin Up. I also decided to enter I this card for the Crafty Individulals June challenge "A summers ball".
I have imagined a lady's maid talking to her friend. The wishful look on her face shows that she would love to attend the ball wearing a lace dress, like the one her mistress has asked her to lay out later that evening..
