As many of you know, since my dear Dad died I have been struggling to keep my mind focused. Usually, I do not have a problem with my card designs, but just going into my craft room had become a real effort. Since joining Colorful Creations and deciding to play along with their creative Sketch-a-Thon challenge, things have improved. They knew I was a card maker as I had told them in my introduction. Although the sketches are geared up to scrap makers, they made me feel very welcome and invited me to adapt the sketch to my card designs, and this is just what I have done.They have been very encouraging about my work, and I think it has helped, as they previously did not know anything about me. So you could say I was starting again with a clean "slate". Each day so far I have hurried into my craft room after seeing the proposed layout, and probably with their help it has put a whole new slant on things for me. Whatever!!! Good job with the "scrap adaptations" Joan! I agree, you can find inspiration a lot of different places. Glad this has inspired you. You never know what it might take to get your mojo working! TFS
